I remember I was sitting in Kaua’i when somebody asked me: ‘How do you say “I love you” in Punjabi?’

I was kind of confused because we don’t say it–most of the youngsters use the English expression itself. If I am true, I have never heard anybody saying to someone ‘I love you’ in Punjabi language literally translated.

It became a curious subject for me and I decided to write about it, in case somebody really wants to try.

What the person is trying to say is to convey the feeling that he/she will remember the other person repeatedly.
